April Real Estate Market Trends
The first quarter has come and gone, and that’s always a good time for a review of the real estate market. Prices continued to rise, and we saw record highs in several cities on the Peninsula. Many homes in the first quarter sold over list price, and with multiple offers. This was particularly true with the more entry-level homes, but it was not exclusive to that market.
Recently, though, there has been a great deal of volatility in the stock market, shifts in consumer confidence, and potential increases in the cost of goods that could influence buyer behavior in the coming months. It’s too early to gauge the long-term impact.
With the recent movement in the financial market, real estate remains one of the most reliable assets to hold, especially in our area. It’s more important than ever to have trusted guidance.
Let’s connect and make sure you have the right strategy in place.
